The KNCV-SOC Autumn Symposium 2023 was a major success!
Friday the 17th of November 2023, the KNCV Autumn Symposium 2023 took place at the Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen. The theme was sustainability and green chemistry, with 8 lectures by professors and professionals from the Northern-Netherlands chemical industry. Lectures addressing an ‘global perspective’, enzymatic depolymerization, polyester recycling, microbial plastics, and upcycling of plastics were received with great interest by the audience.
With 110-115 participants out of the whole country, we can say this years symposium was a major success! The board of the KNCV-SOC therefore would like to thank everybody; lecturers, participants, the charismatic chairman ‘Edzard Geertsema’ and of course our very generous sponsor ‘Chemport Europe’, for making this event possible.
In November 2024 we will organize another autumn symposium and we hope to welcome you there. Stay tuned!
